Can't synchronize maps or view map details

Hello,

I have updated Garmin Express 7.4.10 and when I want to synchronize my maps or view map details,
garmin express constantly asks me to unplug / plug in my device.

I have already tried to delete Garmin Express + cached files
+ re-install but still the same problem.

what to do ? thank you.

Is the edge being recognized by the computer?

On a Mac you will have a new drive mounted on your desktop

On PC a new drive will appear on File Explorer

If it is not being recognized please try a different USB cable, different USB plug on your computer, or both.

The edge is OK to synchronize data, USB cable is OK, the drive garmin is present on my windows 10.

Only buttons to manage maps always ask to unplug / plug edge.

Before GC 7.4.x.x all is OK.

Please read my question again, this is not a maps problem but a problem when I want to click on the maps management buttons,
Garmin Express ask me to disconnect/connect device permanently.

I think it's all part of the same thing. The disconnect/connect device stuff seems to have been put in as part of the fix for the continued prompts to update maps.

OK, with same Edge 1030+ it's OK on my old laptop but not on my desktop. Both are Windows-10.

Exactly the same with me. Fine on my work laptop, doesn't work on my home computer (desktop). Definitely add your concerns to the thread I mentioned above.

Solution : connect edge 1030+ directly to a usb controller without going through an usb hub port of your computer.

On both computers, I'm connecting directly to a USB port on the computer. Am not using a hub at all.
