Wifi not found - Searching forever

Hi, I just got my Edge today and I'm trying to set it up.

Everything went smooth but when I want to connect to my Wifi at home no single Wifi is found.

It juts says "Searching" forever (not even circle loading is shown). I'm confused - is this SW bug or HW bug? Should I exchange it or am I doing something wrong?

Edge only support 2.4Ghz wifi and your SSID cannot be hidden. Did you check this?

He just ignored the warning that he should setup it first via Garmin Connect Mobile or Garmin Express :) Just don't understand why it is needed while later you can add a new SSID directly from your edge device...
