I have done around 40 rides on the Edge 1030 Plus (having come from an Edge 1000), and sometimes during a ride the backlight just stops working, such that alerts and changing pages does not trigger it. The only way to get it back for the rest of the ride is to pull down from the top and try and press the backlight slider or auto to make it live (the level and auto state show no changes had occurred to cause the backlight to have stopped). It only happens 1 in 10 times, but when it does, it can be hard to resolve whilst still riding through the woods, for example. Has anyone else experienced this?
If it helps to know, I mainly use the Edge Remote to move between pages, and I did think I spotted it stop working when moving between pages, but I can not find a common trigger.
