Lost history

I lost all my history after the latest update. Anyone else have the same issue?

Not only did i originally lose all my ride history after the latest update but instead of new rides being entered in my history, older rides are appearing instead. Mainly indoor stationary bike entries…

Remember to keep an eye on the amount of activity fit files in folder Garmin/Activities:
Starting from approx. 200 files the indexing of the files goes crazy.

Not only did i originally lose all my ride history after the latest update but instead of new rides being entered in my history, older rides are appearing instead. Mainly indoor stationary bike entries, if that matters.

Not sure when it started but no history now but showing in connect. Ride about everyday no history till I look back in to January

Same with me. it started immediately after the 4.10 update. The only rides that are showing in my history now are my previous stationary bike workouts that started in Jan. that is only connected to garmin thru my IOS health.

Make sure you haven't inadvertently logged in with an alternate Garmin account. Typically happens when reinstalling the Garmin Connect app during an update or when installing on a new phone, or installing Garmin Express and using a different Garmin account - Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing

Thanks for the heads up, but am using the same phone and the same garmin connect account. Like the previous poster, my rides are being uploaded to Garmin connect successfully they just aren't present in my device.

Oh Ok, that is actually a better problem to have. You just want your history back on your Garmin device? Have you checked on the device under the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder? Could be corrupt data in the folder.

That may have been part of my original problem. I had never deleted any of the entries. I wished I had known to periodically clean out that section.

Never have had a problem with that. My old 1030 probably had over 2years of rides on it never deleted anything. Ride probably 5days a week. Just looked at my total history. Only showing something like 6 rides total.
