Map rotation

The left side of the video is 1030 PLUS, the right side is 1030 (set automatic pause)
It can be seen that when the car is not moving and paused, the 1030 PLUS map on the left will rotate (the automatic compass is recalibrated), and the 1030 on the right will not rotate. At this time, I have not reached the turning intersection. This will make it impossible for me to judge which way to go.

The 1030 does not have an electronic compass...the 1030+ does!

But when I drive, there is no turning or rotating unit, the 1030+ map will still rotate

All I can say is that my Edge 1030 Plus does not show this behavior, but remains still when I stop. However, I use it on the mountain bike and not in the car, where lots of metal and electrical wires might interfere with the compass.

I‘ve looked at your video walk test, and there might be an explanation for the behaviour:
I assume the right upper data of the 4 datas at the bottom is speed.
GPS reception during your test is too poor for that test. Speed never comes to zero. Means - GPS location jumps around your place, triggers speed in random directions.

For a real test you need a good GPS in plain fields.
If you ride a bike with speed sensor (as I do normally) the unit works perfectly.

I usually set gps+glonass to ride outdoors, and I often encounter map rotation
I will install the speed sensor according to your suggestion and test again

I don't want to absolve the device of any blame, but I recommend doing the test under real conditions. Get on the bike and test it under normal conditions (not in city streets with high houses) - preferably with a speed sensor.
On your car video you can see that the map stands still at zero speed - but jumps out of the direction of travel. This indicates a non-calibrated compass - or influences that confuse the compass (metal, el. lines...). The North indicator is hard to see on your 1030 Plus (left) - but one can see that real North is at 11 o‘clock when the video starts and there is speed (map is orientated by drive direction via GPS - compass is out of order in that moment). As soon speed becomes zero, the compass takes over and the map jumps to the right and stands still - North is pointing to 3 o‘clock now. Means: compass is wrong! Not calibrated or irritated.
