EDGE 1030 Plus, Maps Will Not Update

So I charge up my 1030 Plus. Often as not Garmin Express tells me: "Map Updates Available". I click the links. I get to see the license agreement. I can choose between updating Trail Forks or US maps or European maps, or South American Maps. I click one or more links. Garmin Express returns to the start page. I watch a small arrow move in clockwise circles. Then. Nothing. I am on the absolute latest version of Windows 10 Pro. I am using Microsoft's Edge Browser. I am using Version 7.3.0.0 of Garmin Express. Should I sue for a trillion dollars for pain and suffering? (joke)

You should sue for 2.5 gamestop shares which is pretty much almost the same.

All kidding aside this seems to be a problem going around. I had to call Garmin and they helped me delete all the unecessary maps and then I only installed my US Cycling maps (I am in the US). They are trying to figure out why mine doesnt update and gives me the unable to unlock maps error

Looks familiair! Same here. No updates required, so I'm not in trouble. But with inital install with the US maps updating nothing is happening on the computer-side nor on the GARMIN.

Are you seeing any error messages or failures of any kind when you attempt to install the map update? Any screenshots you can share would be helpful.

No error messages. Storage Space: 238 GB total, 176 GB used, 61.4 GB free. When I click on the 'Manage Maps' button the next screen is greyed out and lightly blurred. I am unable to manage maps. I am unable to install, selectively, any of my three update options. I'm wondering, maybe Garmin does not like my browser- Microsoft Edge.

I had the same issue, turns out my computer hdd didn't have the space for the map download (looks like about 10GB for north america). After clearing enough space and running garmin express as administrator, everything went along just fine.

Don't know if this is the problem with your 1030 but I thought i'd let you guys know what worked for me.
