No Grade from Smart Trainer to 1030 Plus when on Zwift or Other Apps

The speed and therefore distance is not valid when using a Smart Trainer that is paired to any biking apps.  The Power and Cadence values are accurate but the Grade is showing zero and therefore the speed and distance are not accurate.

I have a Wahoo Kickr Core smart trainer that is connected to the Edge 1030 Plus.

I hope that the software engineers are working on uploading the Grade that the Smart Trainer is receiving from the biking apps onto to the Edge 1030 Plus as well!

  • I can confirm that it's the same for me. But I think that it's only for setting the grade not reading the actual grade.

For me the problem is a little bit different.

I use my edge 1030plus to have a second data set of power with my pedals when I'm on ZWIFT.

So when I race on Zwift, I choose the profile Indoor and freeride the I set the grade to 0%. The Edge reads the power from my pedals Assioma Duo and other sensors (speed and cadence from my Home trainer an Elite Direto XR and heartrate from my HRM Run).

I can understand that the speed is different from the edge and Zwift. The problem is that sometimes when I do a race on Zwift, the Home trainer is not applying the grade (I'm with MAX sensitivity 100% on my profile on ZWIFT). So whent the grade incease I feel not much more resistance, the speeds only decrease on Zwift and I my cadence is the same. But sometimes it works. I don't understand why.

If somebody as the answer ...

Is it possible to create a profile only for saving datas without interacting with the home trainer ?
