Garmin Edge 1030 Plus + Icons + Garmin Varia RTL516

How do I insert an icons into the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus to show me on the screen the signal (such as a car - or other image) from the Garmin Varia RTL516 that a vehicle is coming from behind ?

About that..... the new Instinct — Esports watch. The overlay metrics are next to useless when using it for streaming indoor cycling. ‍♂️

That is something you can do on the Wahoo Elelemnt line of bike computer and you cannot do that on the Garmin Edge devices.

When the Edge is paired with the RTL it shows a small radar connection icon in the right hand corner of the screen.

When it detects a vehicle it overlays a vertical bar on the screen that tracks the positions of the vehicles.

I believe this is what he is referring to which cannot be done on the Edge devices

The Edge supports that. That is where Wahoo copied it from.

With the radar paired to the Edge go to settings -> sensors - Your radar -> Sensor Details -> Alert Settings

Sorry I did not get that the fact he wanted a car icon instead of a dot. Correct the Edge does not allow you change the dot to some other icon. The change is is purely cosmetic so you are not losing any functionality.
