Software Version 4.0 - GPS firmware successfully updated

I have a new Garmin 1030 Plus and update the software via Garmin Express to version 4.0. Now, it keeps telling me that "GPS firmware successfully updated" over and over. What can I do to fix the issue?

Hello. I have the same problem with 1030plys. After the purchase, I updated it through GE and constantly displays a message about the successful update of the GPS software. How to fix it?

Hi,

After a lot of work with Garmin support they decided mine was a faulty unit and replaced under warranty,

Raise a support ticket with Garmin and as long as you are still in the warranty period they will eventually replace. it.

I deleted the file
Garmin \ RemoteSW \ 006B310706.GCD
Everything has been working for several days.
But in my device properties, the firmware version is 4.1 and the GPS version is displayed as 2.90 (!)
What is the latest version of GPS you have?

That will work until the GPS firmware tries to update again and then you are back to square one, no GPS. The latest GPS is 4.80.
