1030 Plus shows no score in stress score

I have a Garmin Vivoactive 4 which as body battery, & stress score as well as the Garmin Edge 1030 Plus.  Both of these going to Garmin Connect, Why then is the 1030 Plus showing NO Score & No history recorded under 'Stress Score'?

It also says i need to wear the heart rate monitor at the same time each day? I always wear my watch which is constantly measuring my heart rate and only wear a Garmin HR strap when cycling?

    The Stress Score that is displayed on the 1030 Plus specifically is a three minute test where you are wearing a heart rate strap. More information on this test can be found here. 

    The information from your vivoactive 4 will upload to your account, but it is not technically the same metric and will not be sent to your Edge.

    seems strange that the metric is not the same especially when we buy into an ecosystem. Is it a technical limitation, happy to wear the heart strap for some of the day but adding a 3 min strap session in my day when there is another product doing this seems disjointed and too much effort.   Also happy to buy a different watch if that would help.
