Problem Returning to Home Screen During Activity

I have installed this app- 'My Edge2' by Stanislav Bures at the top of 'Ride 2'. I can start a ride off this app without any problems. I can get from this app to 'Navigate' (home page) -> 'Browse Map' without any problems. Unfortunately, I cannot get back to this app from my map screen. I have tried tapping my screen. I have tried swiping my screen left, right, top, bottom. All I get is different views of my map page. What am I doing wrong? (I'm on a brand new Edge 1030 Plus)

  • This is not quite clear to me - I can only guess what you mean:
If you are on the map screen and wiping left, right, up and down shifts the map, then you have to go back to the normal map view. At the bottom left of the screen there is a curved arrow. You have to tap it.

  • You may well be correct. I have not noticed an arrow. I have noticed plus and minus signs. I'll look for an arrow this coming Saturday. Thank You.

  • "'Navigate' (home page) -> 'Browse Map'" is meant to be a temporary way to look at the map. You exit this mode by clicking on the curved white arrow at the bottom left (as mcinner1 said).

I'm supposing you mean getting to the home screen from the map page (which you can swipe left or right to go to other pages).

From there, you need to tap the screen to have the hand display at the top. Another tap will bring up another screen with a house at the bottom. Click the house to get to the home screen.

Anyway, your issue isn't related to the home screen...

Edge2 is a datafield (not an app or widget). It would have to be a field on a data page. You have to add it to a data page (since it looks like it takes over the whole screen, you might want to create a page for it).

Once it's on a data page, you can swipe left/right to get to other pages (like the map screen).

There's a video on the Edge2 page that explains this stuff.
