hrm drop

Today everything started fine but soon my HRM stopped reading. I tried to synch it again but it never connected.

When I got home, I stopped my ride, turned the unit off and restarted it.

My HRM was showing again.

Why does it drop out during a ride and can I reconnect without stopping my ride?

Did you repace the battery of the HRM?

I think you can delete and reconnect the HRM in the Sensors menu during the ride.

I replaced the battery even though it tested fine. I'll see how it works next time I ride and will also try deleting and reconnecting HRM sensor if I have issues. Thanks.

When was the last time you cleaned your H.R. strap

I only use the hard strap and always wipe it off after using it.

I always use Spectra 360 Electrode Gel and make sure the strap is snug.

Pretty sure my strap isn't an issue.
