Edge 1030 Plus 3.00 firmware version GPS problem

After updating the firmware to version 3.00 the GPS has started to have a very low signal consequently the GPS track is highlighted incorrectly and the Strava segments do not start..

The 3.00 software update changed the part number for the GPS software. The GPS software should now show as build 4.50.

Try syncing using Garmin Express and see if it pushes the GPS update.

I installed FW 3.00 several days ago, two acitivities now and no problem with GPS. But I have choosed the Option "GPS + Glonass".

You could try this too-good luck.

V3.0 and GPS firmware updated. No problem here using GPS+Galileo!

Have a look to the GPS-Modus, I think it was set to only "GPS" ! In Germany, I take "GPS+Galileo"

Which GPS-Firmware Version do you have?

The laste GPS-Firmware is the Version 4.50 . To get them you need to connect the Edge with Garmin Express.

Yes, GPS-Version 4.5, SW-Version 3.00

After updating the firmware to version 3.00 i have no GPS

GPS version is 2.90 with a (!) behind after check for updates it stil stays 2.90 (!)

and he says "EPO: Missing

With the Edge connected to the PC try deleting the following 2 files off the Edge. (see below)

Disconnect the Edge from the PC. The Edge will rebuild those files.

Now reconnect it to the PC and see if it pushes the GPS software. If it does not I will pull the file from my unit and upload it here.

Delete

Garmin\Device.fit

Garmin\GarminDevice.xml

Hi, I have the exact same issue and have tried the solutions mentioned here. Still not able to update the firmware to 4.50.

Have you managed to solve it?

Any help will be highly appreciated.
