Firstly, before I start my moan; I’m enjoying my new 1030 Plus – good screen and sensitivity and battery life is amazing.
However, I have a problem with my Edge 1030 Plus that I also experienced with the Edge 1000 and the Edge 1030 in that the map display on the approach to some junctions, especially roundabouts (traffic circles) is still terrible. Some junction warnings are so bad that it is impossible to see what exit I should be taking. See examples below - especially the third one - just what exit am I meant to be taking?
Note though - some junctions are displayed just how theay are meant to be.
I really had hoped that this problem would have been fixed by now, along with Garmin’s irritating desire to route you down every cycle path adjacent to a road – I can assure you not every cyclist wants to know about these.
Surely I'm not the only one experiencing these problems (it happens irrespective of what platform I plan my rides on).
Garmin: I want to be heard this time - please fix this.
