Recording Interval is set at 1 Sec, but Garmin Connect intervals are greater than 1 Second

Hi

I can't get Garmin Connect to show my activities with 1 second intervals, despite my 1030 Plus being set to 1 Sec in the Recording Interval setting.

I've toggled Recording Interval between Smart and 1 Sec, but no matter what it's set at, all of my rides show up in Garmin Connect with data points at intervals greater than 1 second. The best I've seen for one ride was 3 second intervals with the occasional 2 second interval here and there, but my last ride (less than 4 hours long) was showing mostly 7 second intervals (when set at 1 Sec on the 1030 Plus).

Am I missing something or is this a bug?
