garmin Edge 1030 Plus "remaining distance" field not working

When navigating with the Edge(r) 1030 Plus the "Remaining Distance" field does not show the distance to the end point (the field remains empty) when navigating a route.

Is this a bug?

Mine usually works when navigating a route however i have also noticed occasionally when free riding that the field has a number in it even though I am not following a route so should be blank as unit would not know how far i am travelling

I've also noticed this as well.

I don't have such problem - it works normaly
