Training Effect staying at 0 on 1030+

I am using the 1030 plus for a month. Today training effect did not work on my edge it did remain at 0 for my 3 hours ride. Does any body experience the same problem?

At mid ride I started my Fenix6x just to make sure sensors were ok, and it recorded TE correctly, On the good side Varia radar did not disconnect today.

Thanks jim_rm, you are right, my rides are close and also finishes after midnight. I was thinking that this might be the reason so I started to end the ride before closing to midnight, and didn't happen…

Hi, same problem here. First it happened to me. But it's on an Edge 530.

Happened again today. It seems to me it is related with using iQ Connect apps for navigation. I used Komoot this time and I had some difficulties to start the activity and to stop it. Both times I had to *** down completely my Edge 530 and restart. It's really annoying and I really really expect an answer.

Get the same issue today on my 1030+ Edge, was working fine before (for sample no issue yesterday)

Same issue here. Had the 1030 Plus for 2 weeks, worked fine for the first 8 days, no Training Effect for 3-4 days now. My Fenix 6 is working fine and tracking OK in Garmin Connect. Garmin - please resolve the issue!

Well I had a similar issue with a max effort session, edge 1030 p recorded it as a recovery ride and load of just 40 where as previously load was close to 250 for a similar effort. I think for mine as I did it close to midnight so my cool down was after midnight thus it only registered the cool down effort and some endurance and not the max efforts which were done before midnight this previous day. Very strange though

I had this twice so far and it is depressing to loose these data while on ride.

Former Member I have similar problem where it resets while on ride, twice so far. Hope there is something be done to resolve it.

I have the same problem with an 830. For me it seems to happen whenever an activity starts before midnight and ends after midnight - as mentioned above it looks like it only records the 'post-midnight' part of the activity for training purposes. I have 2 recent rides that total 300km but they have 'Exercise Load' scores of 4 and 3 respectively (and TE of 0.3 and 0.2). I notice at least 3 of the activities linked above finish after, or close to, midnight so it could be the same thing..
