Thanks for this. This is what I was looking for. I am sure there is something wrong with my unit. It's great to get feedback from someone else who heavily uses their Garmin with a similar number of devices/sensors and see what kind of battery life they were getting.

Heard back from Garmin Support -
"Thank you for the information I requested. I created a engineering ticket so my techs can take a deeper look at this issue. So, bear with us while we investigate it further.
Thank you for choosing Garmin,"
I'll follow up when I hear back from engineering.
It is also 1900 mAh. You can see this here https://fccid.io/IPH-03877/Internal-Photos/Internal-Photos-4703133.pdf#page=3 at the internal photos from FCC-ID-Test (https://fccid.io/IPH-03877/)
The battery life compared to the edge 1030 is higher because of the new low energy Sony-GPS-Chip in the 1030 plus.
So I wanted to wrap this up... After a few emails and looking into my case, Garmin support decided that the battery in the device that I bought was defective. They shipped me a new device and the new device is only using 4-5% for a 1.5 hour ride which calculates to 25+ hours of battery life the device should be getting. Much better than what the original device I bought was getting. Thanks all for your help and feedback and thanks to Garmin Support for taking care of me.
Enjoy the rides. More fun with your new good working device.
