Battery drain

Hi,

Is anyone else experiencing a battery issue with the 1030 plus? So far, I’ve been losing on average 15% each time during my indoor workouts (90 mins each). At that rate, I’d struggle to make it 7hours outside, let alone 24hours? I also lost 15% throughout today when it was fully turned off???

I did 2 tours - 2,5 h each - with displaylight on auto (ever on) and I was surprised how slow the battery drains.
As average about 4% to 5% per hour.

With indoor activities you have to take the display backlight into account. That is the culprid in juice consumption.

Thanks for your comment. That’s actually a good point... I do have the colour on full blast. I’ll try reducing that to medium to see what impact it makes.

I have noticed (and reported) a similar battery drain after the last FW upgrade (3.70) on my the Edge130. Since the FW upgrades were all rolled at the same time, I wonder whether these issues are connected? Did your battery drain started after the firmware upgrade about 10-12 days ago?
