Edge 1030 + : plenty of bugs

The new Edge 1030 + is plenty of bugs :

Strava segments don't work properly : it's not the case with the edge 1030

Climbpro doesn't work when activating "back to the start" : it was working on the edge 1030

Virtual partner : the time ahead or behind is wrong on a course done with strava for example: It' s the same with edge 1030

Sometimes livetrack doesn't start.....

What format does the map have?

BirdsEye maps need a complicated register and download procedure:

Use BaseCamp to activate your BirdsEye subscription
Select and download imagery (Watch videos for PC and Mac)

?? but this is exactly the way we are talking about: BirdsEye have to be downloaded to BaseCamp and uploaded to the device (can be parallel when downloading) - download imagery is a module of BaseCamp.

My reply to krazyeone was that he shall suggest another better option for downloading/uploading to device instead of BC which he deems as stoneold.

Yes, noticed the Grade is very slow to reflect the terrain. Much faster on my Edge 1030 and my Forerunner 945.
