1030 Plus wont connect to Iphone Connect APP

Just received my 1030 Plus upgrading from a 1030. 

The connect app cannot find my 1030 Plus. On the Connect app screen the bluetooth "Select an accessory"  menu pops up but its blank and has nothing to select. Even though in my iphone bluetooth settings it shows up and even pairs when i manually select it. I have tried resetting and restarting everything. I also try to connect in the iphone bluetooth menu then go to the connect app and still doesn't work.

    I have same issue

    Able to pair up with my old adroid so I know it's working, but won't pair with my Iphone 11

    HELP!

    I have the exact same problem. I tried pairing it with my iPhone 11 Pro about 15 times. It never worked.  :(

    Same problem here. I have an iPhone 7. The phone says it's connected, my device says it wants to connect to my phone. But when I use the app it fails time after time. My device appears in the accessory list, but you've to be patient. But the outcome is the same whether I select my device or not.

    Finally I succeeded to connect phone and device. I don't know how I did it.

    Same here. At least the side benefit is it has stopped the annoying wind and gale warning weather alerts! One way to fix that bug, break the entire connection!

    I'm having the same issue. One week after buying and I'm returning it. Syncing with the Mac is also an issue. for this kind of money....I'm over it!

    I know this should just work. It's so annoying. What has worked for me lately is that I just turn off bluetooth on my phone and return it on and then it instantly connects on the garmin connect app. dont' ask me why. I'm so frustrated with this device.
