Alerts are loud and clear

Purchased an Edge 1030 Plus solely for the louder alerts. Completed my first ride today and had no problems hearing my Varia alerts even in heavy traffic.

    Maybe good for older people, but for me it is crazy loud. I needed to stick a tape over the buzzer opening. Garmin - please, add volume control Slight smile

    That will be great, I only had the chance to use it once since it arrived and I love it, a big upgrade from my aging Edge 1000 :), but the alerts are way to loud, on busy roads it drives me crazy. I was pretty happy with the Edge 1000 subtle alerts. I can understand that people prefer the louder ones but please, give us customization :)
