ROUTES NOT LOADING OR SYNCING

My Garmin routes are not loading into the device. I noticed the 'Routable Cycle Map of Europe' doesn't appear to be installed and it says not enough memory to install. Cant change any of the maps either. Anyone else have this? Anyone found a solution ?

  • I had a similar issue- pretty sure it is a bug. Make sure that you only select the maps for your region and deselect the others (you can tell by the storage bar at the bottom)

    You can always go back and put another set of maps on if required at a later stage. Enjoy!

  • I also noticed that Garmin Connect advises to change the region by "Clicking Change Region" as shown in screenshot below but there is no option to change the region ????

    I am getting the same issue as well. Brand new Edge 1030Plus bought in the UK and it seems to be offering me updates for South America & AU & NZ only - I cannot unselect the other maps either. I am sure it is the right version though as the only enabled maps on the device are the EU Maps, North Amer and Africa as it should be for the EUR model

    I join all of you with the same problem regarding the region. 

  • Found that if i delete all of the map files from the 1030+ reboot and re connect to Express i could then select the eu maps and get them installed (takes forever).

    Once done Express will keep on telling you there are updates - ignore these as you'll not have enough free space on the device.  Beyond belief that Garmon only saw fit to set it at 32gb ... its not like memory is expensive !!!!

    I've a separate ticket for this but no one's bothering with it apparently
