I'm thinking of buying the magnetless speed sensor for my road bike, the rear hub is made by Giant. As it is not cylindrical as per the picture below i was wondering if it would fit ok or would slide and sit at an angle.
You couldn't be sure without trying it, but I think it would stay in the middle. The strap that wraps around the hub is like two sides of a rubber band. For the sensor to move off center one band would need to be stretched more than the other.
