Asymmetric hug and a mag-resistance trainer.

I was trying to decide between the Garmin magnetless speed+cadence sensor on the Wahoo BlueSC v2 (ant+/btle)
I like the garmin initially because i want to switch between my road bike on the trainer, and my mtn bike.

I have alx320 rims, and they have what I think is an asymmetric hub, but as I've never heard that phrase before, I'm not sure. Will the speed sensor work on that rim? ( http://img27.olx.pl/images_tablicapl/168536901_2_644x461_kola-szosowe-a-class-alx320-dodaj-zdjecia.jpg )

I also have a Blackburn tech mag 6 trainer, and read in these forums that magnetized components or traininers are wreaking havoc on the speed sensor. short of buying one and trying it. What has others experience been with mag trainers and this sensor.
