do i have a faulty sensor or is it a normal behaviour of the new magnetless cadence sensor to drop to 0 if you go below 39 (slow heavy hill climbing).

I honestly don't know. I've never climbed a hill at that low a cadence. That must be some hill or.... you are on a fixie, or.... you need to downshift.
today i updated my 810 to 3.28beta.... unfortunatly i needed to do a factory reset after the update (config data was totally messed up), after pairing all the sensors i gave it another try and now i was able to see cadence data down to 30.... i guesss the limit is around 30 (which makes sense to me and which is totally o.k. i rarely come down to the 39... but occacionally it happens)
