My wife has a Forerunner 610 and the GSC 10. It has been paired up with the bike sensor and manually set to the wheel size. Cadence and speed have been configured to show on the bike screen. When pedaling, the speed shows up correctly but the cadence is not registering at all. We've replaced the battery in the sensor and made sure the devices are paired (it's receiving the speed info after all) but we cannot figure out why the cadence information isn't registering. Any thoughts as to what we can do or check?
It turns out that we completely forgot about the magnet on the pedal until my wife was talking about how it measured pedal speed and I realised the only way it could do that is with a second magent. The GSC 10 was just a few milometers too far away from the rediscovered pedal magnet. Tilting the sensor a little closer got it to register the cadence.
