Cadance sensor working, speed sensor does NOT.

Hello,

Yesterday I found out that my speed sensor from my Garmim doesn't work anymore. I tried to change the magnet on my rear wheel but that didn't work. The strange thing is that my cadance sensor still works.
Anyone knows the (solve of) the problem?

Probably the reed switch in the arm has failed. You'll probably need to replace the sensor.

I had this and was convince it was the sensor, but I changed the Edge 810 settings from "Cadence/Speed" to "Cadence and Speed" and that did the trick.... that being said, I've read a lot of reviews of similar problems and they all point to hardware failure.

I had similar issue just now and as alynhockey pointed out, you need to go into your bike profile > sensors > search all and then it works.
But it doesn't work in the default sensor icon in the main menu where my hartsensor does get found.

So weird...
