When connected to my trainer, heart rate monitoring no longer works

I have Fenix 6 Pro.

While heart rate monitoring works well regularly, but when I ever I start the "Bike Indoor" activity tracking and it connects to my bike trainer, the heart rate monitoring stops working.

Is that part of the feature?

Having the same issue on Forerunner 570 after the recent update. Was working fine before. It's annoying as it means the activity captured on the device doesn't contain measures of exertion and other stats

Would love to find a solution!
