Cannot add sensor 4iiii precision 3+ pro power meter in my Garmin Edge Explore

Edge Explore and 4iiii precision 3+ pro issue.

4iiii power meter shows up in 4iiii app , both left and right side, but it is not found by Garmin Edge Explore when I try to add sensor.

The power meter works just fine recording ride with 4iiii all good

The issue is with Garmin computer. All other sensors I have and branded Garmin are seen and connected except 4iiii.

Please advise.

    I think the EfgeWxplore never supported power meters. 
    that is one of the reasons Edge Explore was cheaper than 1030

    Hi, regardless , it’s a cycling computer, and a simple software update would have resolved it. Luckily a 3rd party developer created an app available  on Garmin Connect IQ called ANT+ Power Meter. I installed it on my  “cheap” Garmin computer and it connected to my 4iiii power meter sensor and recorded the  power output just  fine.

    Hope this will help others with same issue.

    I never said it was cheap, i said it was cheaper than the 1030. And it was totally clear that it wouldn’t have cycling power, Garmin never stated it would have. Instead, it was your decision to buy it. Don’t blame anybody else for feature missing you choose not to pay for.
