HRM Dual Dropping out

My hrm dual is paired with an edge 840 and about an hour into a ride the heart rate data starts dropping out. I have a varia and power pedals also paired to the edge 840.

Last year my hrm dual would stick at 72bpm so it was replaced under warranty. Worked fine all summer, but now it's dropping out all together.

I replaced the battery, washed the strap. Tried pre wetting the strap.

I said I would get a polar strap if I had a other issue with this Garmin one, but I guess I'm not as ready to bin it and spend more money as I thought I was.

I have a Polar H10 and non-Garmin BT rear camera. A year or so ago - so excuse me if I don't get the exact details here, but I had to change the strap to only ANT+ becuase I think the BT camera was interfering…

A year or so ago - so excuse me if I don't get the exact details here, but I had to change the strap to only ANT+ becuase I think the BT camera was interfering with the signal and causing drop-outs. Bottom line was I changed the setup and now the Edge 830 does not lose the HR.

I want to say I checked that it was connected via ant+ but I will double check.

I was connected on ant+. Used a second Garmin HRM I have and no issues. Both are out of warranty.
