My HRM PRO Plus didn't last

My HRM PRO Plus died after 7 month of use (it shows wrong heart rate, even when not on me still shows data).
After communicating with support it came out that nothing can be done (i lost warranty paper) and no other info can replace it. Not bank transaction screenshots, serial number nor garmin connect data is worth a thing.

No-one ever explained Me what is warranty paper proving that can not be proven any other way.

Just for example my friends wahoo strap died approximately at the same time. All he had to do was sending purchase screenshot, and he recived a new one via warranty (no paper work in this digital era)

  • If you still have the invoice / receipt, call support again. Don’t ever talk about that warranty paper with them. 
    If you mean invoice / receipt with warranty paper, you are out of luck.

    I never had any issues with Garmin Germanys support. HRMs wich where failing and within 2 years of purchase where replaced, no dedicated warranty papers needed, only the invoice. 

  • Yes by warranty paper i mean invoice.

    So there is a bank transaction of me sending 130 euro to Garmin store.
    There is Garmin device with a history of 7 months data starting next day from my bank transaction with its serials and cods.
    But no prove.

    If its just a bureaucracy thing, Im fine with it. But 
    Not fine with 7 month lasting product.



  • If you need the invoice, just download it from the Garmin store.
    Go to Garmins website in your language, then log in.
    Click on the circle with an upper torso in it, the second menu item is „Orders“.
    All your orders at Garmin.com are listed there.
    In the right, grey box there is method of payment and beneath download invoice.

  • Is not online purchase, my friend bought it from Garmin shop in Vienna (appears that online purchase is superior to visiting Garmin shops). My local Garmin shop did everything to get rid of me as soon as possible.

    After some interaction with support, could find a phone number (no email, or wattsapp or any platform were you can send files, all this was called old-fashioned)

    Will try to call and see if is possible to get a invoice copy of a transaction that happened 7 month ago. (Hope language wouldn't be barrier)
