Cadence sensor 2 - Garmin watch Forerunner 245 - Can not connect.

Hello everyone,

I have a Garmin watch Forerunner 245, and I would like to connect it to my Cadence sensor 2.

The problem raised after changing of battery (CR 2032). Currently I am not able to connect my watch with the cadence sensor 2.

I tried removing the sensor and adding it again.

Holging UP > Sensors and accesories > Add new > Search all sensors.

select Cad - xxxxx number

But the status is never Connected.

If I open the application Tacx Garmin in my Android I can see the revolutions per minute !!!

Do you know what could be the problem?

Start a Cycling activity on the watch, the activity should have a Cadence data field. Activate the sensor by pedaling, it should work. The watch will only "connect" when it needs to use the sensor as during an activity.

If you don't ever use the watch cycling activities then don't connect the sensor as it will never be used.
