I have a vector 1st generation that I bought used, and is unable to get to work. Connected to an edge 1030 plus, it says Error 8000 and 8001, software on pedals not matching. The edge is connected to wifi and should automatically update the pedals, but it does not seem to do so. I don't have the garmin ant+ usb dongle, but I have the one that comes with my tacx roller.(ANT+ USB dongle T2018) Since it's ant+ I would guess it should be able to connect with the pedals, but it does not find them when I connect to garmin express. I'll just buy a garmin ant+ stick if there's any chance that the tacx dongle is the issue. Has anyone tried to connect via a tacx dongle? Or had the same error on the pedals?
