I have a HRM DUAL for my edge 530 which I can't use because the lids that hold the the screws in place for the battery cover detached from it and now it won't close and the battery is not held in place, the sensor works perfectly and it is recognized by the ciclocomputer but it is not possible to put the battery because the battery cover cannot be tightened.
Went to the Garmin distributor in Colombia asking for the replacement part which they said they don't have it and that I should buy a new sensor even when this one is still working (don't seem to care about environmental responsibility and sustainability), I don't want to pay for a new sensor when I have a fully functional one, any suggestions?
P.D. Battery had not been replaced and I had never opened the HRM sensor as it was running on the battery that comes with it.
