I came upon an Edge 305. The device is seen without a problem on Windows 7 (after updating the usb drivers), but since Garmin Express doesn't quite work on Windows 7, I tried Windows 10. Even though the device was reported to have some problem initially, mysteriously Edge 305 was seen and I could sync and even upload a ride. However, just as mysteriously, the device was reported having some problem (configuration not complete?). I'm not sure but it may have happened after I used Garmin Connect web version (to send a route to Edge 305. Any clues as to what might have happened? I also noticed I had an older version on Garmin Basecamp. Any interference? I removed the older Basecamp, reinstalled the usb drivers and Express, but the problem remains.
