Speed sensor 2 still doubling activity

I know it's a common problem, but according to Garmin, it shouldn't happened if I have newer device!

https://support.garmin.com/en-US/?faq=7On6Njrgp06q8AXljKTeI7#:~:text=If%20you%20have%20paired%20a,devices%20prevent%20this%20from%20occurring.

So Garmin force the people with older watch/computer models to buy newer one, which still doesn't solve the problem! I have newest F7Pro and I got 8 odds short activities on 26km activity. Are the Garmin programmers all right? I will solve this with ONE condition in Garmin connect. If the time of activity in speed sensor covers with time of watch/edge recorded activity, then delete that activity. It's so simple and there is still no fix for that! Only delete the sensor from GC, but why, if Garmin claims it works!

  • If you always have a Garmin watch or Edge for every ride, there's no reason to connect the speed sensor to GC.  Pair the speed sensor with the watch and the Edge but only record on one of those two devices.

  • That's what I wrote ,

Only delete the sensor from GC,

But why Garmin claims it should work? That's my question.

  • Sorry, I read your post too quickly.  You are correct, if Garmin says it should work, it should, but this wouldn't the first time Garmin stuff doesn't work exactly as advertised.  But, my rationale still stands; if you are always using an Edge or Garmin watch to record your rides, there is no need to have the speed sensor connected to GC.
