Garmin Edge 520

Hello,

I accidentally removed the folder structure from my old Garmin Edge 520. Would there might be anyone who knows how or where I can retrieve them? I tried through Garmin Express was hoping to find the files over there but doesn't seem to provide.

Hello PJ, I do have an Edge 520 so I can probably help, but how? I guess it's not only the "folder structure" that got removed, but the contents as well. Surely I can't attach the whole Edge 520 contents on this forum! What do you suggest?

Yes indeed, I believe I have removed everything accidentally. When I connect the Edge to my Mac, I see the device 'GARMIN' but when I look inside the device folder it seems to be empty. I you could upload a ZIP file of your root folder to perhaps wetransfer or dropbox and drop a link here, would be very much appreciated. This would be the only way I can come up with. An email would also work of course.

If this is too much of a hassle I also understand.

Well, it looks like it's working. I have put everything in a /edge520 folder which I have then zipped. I don't have Dropbox, but I do have a personal file server. Try this link and let me know if you can get the file. BR, Daniel

Thanks for your efforts, for some reason it doesn't allow me to connect due to network issues. Not sure why, tried disabling vpn but no luck yet.

Don't worry, we'll find a way to gat this file to you. First try this alternate link which bypasses the Synology servers.

Sorry, doesn't seem to work either. The page keeps loading for long time and then times out, I think.

And... that worked? Did you manage to restore your Edge 520 like that? It's sure good to know that a Garmin Edge can be restored that way!
