Cadence sensor installation on SRAM crank

I recently purchased a new bike with the SRAM drive train. The crank has a v grove on the inside, making it difficult to install my cadence sensor. Does Garmin have any product to facilitate fitting the sensor to a SRAM crank? Can the cadence sensor be installed in any other place on the bike? Any ideas?

Currently my Speed Sensor 2 is mounted on of the spokes of the chain ring spider.

I've also had it mounted on a Shimano hollow backed crank arm with a piece of shaped foam behind it to give it some extra support and stability.
