HRM-PRO - BLE or ANT+

Just bought a Garmin HRM-PRO for use with my Edge 840. I would like to get HRV recordings.

Should I pair with BLE or ANT+?

ANT+ is always the preferred protocol to communicate with Edge devices. Do NOT try to send both to the Edge, only pair via Bluetooth or ANT+, but again ANT+ is generally considered the better choice.

For HRV both ways should work.
