Edge 810 doesn't recognize Levo ebike battery extender

My Edge 810 syncs with my Specialized Levo SL eBike and shows the remaining battery life of the bike's internal battery, but doesn't recognize or adjust the battery life reading when I connect the battery extender to the ebike.

In contrast, the Specialized Mission Control app shows the battery life of the bike and when I connect the battery extender, the Mission Control app increases the battery life reading to reflect the additional battery life from the extender. However, the Edge 810 doesn't do that. Anyone know if there's a fix for this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Same issue on a Garmin 840, Specialized Turbo Vado with a range extender. Only the extender shows up on the display. Wahoo Element Bolt shows both batteries on the display, which is really nice. I am missing the feature!
