Maximum heartrate is set to high.

Maximum heartrate is set to high. It was automatically adjusted upwards after a period of high heartrate due to extra heartbeats. Now heart is "normal" - will Garmin automatically adjust Max heartrate down again? Or will I have to manually adjust? Using the HRM Pro Plus and Fenix 5X Plus.

I think you'll have to manually adjust down. Easy to do, Garmin Connect on laptop is my preferred way. Edit it and be sure to hit "Save" at the bottom, then it will adjust the Edge on next sync.
