Two days in a row the watch says there is an update for the speed and cadence sensors. Both days it got to 94% and failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Two days in a row the watch says there is an update for the speed and cadence sensors. Both days it got to 94% and failed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
For myself, I had to turn off bluetooth and wifi on my phone (which was nearby). I then just rode in circles in my driveway to keep the sensor active and it then updated properly.
It simply wouldn't complete for me either until the phone was disconnected. Oh, also turn off wifi on the Edge or watch (if it has wifi connection).

Also try it with a new battery in the sensor.
Sensor is brand new.
Of ocurse today i was not prompted to update
I just spoke to Garmin. They think my issue is that when I couldn't get it to update I added it to my phone.
If you want to update it add it to your phone and update it that way. Once it is updated remove it from the phone because after the update it kept trying to reconnect.
I dont have an edge, so that wont work :)
Then I would wait for the next update. Tech support said it was a minor update.
