Speed Sensor 2 v4.10 firmware

New Speed Sensor 2 firmware v4.10 has appeared in Garmin Express for my Edge 830.

Changes:

* Fixed speed spike
* Added a default wheel size

Will attempt installation over the weekend.

Installed it after the third attempt and after edge telling me, that it has got 100% and the update was successful the sensor did not connect anymore. I will now try to leave it till deep sleep and then wake it up and try again.

Made the update installation.
Did not seem to have any spike issue with the v4.00.
Sensor connected with any problems at my Edge, watch and phone.

I installed it a bit earlier via Edge 830, no issues found during the installation, but also never had any issues before with spikes etc.

On 4.00 I noticed these speed spikes from a Velodrome session. Will see if they are fixed on 4.1

Took three tries linking to Edge 1030. Went to 25 and got stuck, went to 52 and got stuck, then finally installed. But I had to wait 30 minutes for the Edge 1030 to re connect. All good.

Came home, saw the update did the update without a problem, went inside wanted to do the update for the second bike, tried 5 times, always connection lost, i went outside again and it did the update in 1go without a problem, maybe the edge needs good gps signal before it can do the update.

Was the Edge disconnected from you phone/WiFi when you went outside?

When I was indoors it wouldn't update until I disabled both connections then the update worked 1st time at the next attempt

Indoor and outdoor the edge and the phone were connected and visible, indoor it disconnected from the phone by itself and then it failed the upgrade.

Maybe it was because I disabled connection rather let it disconnect so it wasn't searching for the phone that allowed it to work for me

Mine wouldn’t update from my Edge 830 but did update when it was paired to my iPhone and Garmin connect. However now when I ride it constantly connects and disconnects from my Edge 830 which is really annoying. Anyone else have this problem?
