Cadence sensor 2 help please

I have a cadence sensor 2 attached to a spin bike, it connects to my Fenix 5s, but then I get no data at all from it. What am I doing wrong? I have the watch on "bike indoors" mode, it tells me it is connected via Bluetooth, but then nothing. What am I doing wrong? What info am I meant to be getting from it?

How do you have it attached to the spin bike?

Try connecting to the Cadence Sensor 2 to the with ANT+ instead of Bluetooth.

What spin bike are you using?

I have no idea how to connect it via ANT+ as opposed to Bluetooth (in fact no idea if that's what it's already using?) I just set it up according to the instructions and my watch connected to it in the same way my HR monitor did. Not sure what difference it makes what bike I'm using? I start pedalling, the sensor Wales up and connects to my watch, then.... nothing.

I’m not familiar with the Fenix. Do you have a data field setup on it for cadence? This has to be done on the bike computers so it may be the same for the Fenix.

If it uses an electromagnetic retarder to control the resistance this could be interfering with the cadence sensor's ability to detect movement.

Have you used the Cadence Sensor 2 attached to a real bike on an outdoor ride?
