Garmin Speed Sensor 2 and Apple Watch connection.

Hello Team Garmin,

I have recently bought Speed Sensor 2 and attached to my static spinning machine flywheel to record the distance. I am connected to Garmin FR45 to record indoor cycling which records distance travelled.

Question is: Any idea if I can sync the speed sensor to my Apple Watch so that I don't have to wear both of them while exercising? Speed Sensor/FR45 syncs with Garmin Connect and then that syncs with Apple Health etc.

Any help is much appreciated.

No way. You can‘t connect anything to an AppleWatch but the iPhone.

You might be able to because I can connect a Garmin Varia direct to my Apple watch direct with an app and dont need my phone with me. If its BLE then there may be a way.

You can connect an external Bluetooth hear rate monitor to the apple watch.

not true, the Applewatch has BLE sensor connection.

with watchOS 10 you will be able to connect the sensor directly to the Apple Watch.

This is not true! Lots od sensor work with apple watch - I try this one and thare is no Idea but hearth pro sensor work normaly

I have watchOS10 and I confirm it! Read also the official announcement by Apple!!!
