Tacx Genius T2020

The software for this Tacx Trainer is now unsupported by Garmin after their takeover of Tacx.

I would like to continue to use this equipment but I need a software.

It looks like I have a couple of options:

1 Purchase a ANT+ to Bluetooth converter, then it seems I could use multiple popular softwares available?

2. Use Tacx Desktop app - I have seen somewhere that this app can handle ANT+ and Bluetooth (I have found it hard to varify this however)

Can anyone please make comments or suggestions which will help me bring back my Tacx Genius back to life.

I'm not familiar with this specific trainer but if it supports standard ANT+ FE then you should be able to use it like any other smart trainer. Most Android smart phones have ANT+ built in so you can run Zwift or whatever. To use with a computer you can buy the Garmin ANT Stick. You don't need Bluetooth.

The Genius T2020 (last manufactured date 2014) did not have ANT+FE. It only had proprietary ANT+. Unfortunately, with the discontinued TTS4, your trainer does not have option for use with any current TACX Applications.
