Speed Sensor 2 + Pulse from Styles Watch

Hello All,

I have Garmin Styles Watch + Speed Sensor 2.

I have bought a speed sensor so it automatically starts/records my cycling ( and it works fine) but I am unable to get that tight with pulse reading from my watch.

If I manually start the cycling option on my watch same time - I receive 2 activities in Connect app on my Android Device - One has only speed sensor data, and no pulse other is only GPS data from the watch.

Is there an option to use autostarted activities from the Speed sensor and pulse data from Watch? (Garmin Styles)

Another issue is that speed sensor activities have the wrong time (but already I have googled that is a known, unsolved issue.

You would need to export both activities and merge them manually with some tool. I‘d sell the watch and get a (cheap) forerunner thats supports ANT+ and has it‘s own GPS built in, and pair the speed sensor…

Thanks for clarification.now I know how it works.

Missing auto or manuall merge in app- I do not see reason why it is missing -other than crappy feature list.

As usuall Garmin makes greate hardware but ends up with crappy SW support.

Hello Max,

all specifications list ANT+ in Garmin vivomove Styles.

Does anyone know how to pair sensors via ANT in vivomove Styles?

How did you get the sensor to display? I have a forerunner 245 and the sensor synd with my watch and Garmin connect. But I couldn't figure out how to activate it once I began a ride so it could capture the data.
