Wahoo Headwind fan control on 830

I can pair my Wahoo Headwind fan to my Wahoo Roam (or Bolt) as a BTLE device and control the fan from the Head Unit.

Very helpful while on the trainer.

My 830 can't find the device.

Anyone know of plans for Garmin to recognize the Headwind as a suitable BTLE device?

    Do you know what type of device it shows as? I'm guessing it is not using a public profile.

    When being paired to the Wahoo, it is in the "Other" section of sensors.

    Once paired to the Wahoo head unit, it shows in the sensor list as a "Headwind" using a BTLE connection.

    As soon as the Headwind appears as a Connected sensor, an additional Page is added to the available screens.

    This additional page allows the Headwind to be powered on/off and have the fan speed controlled in 25% increments.
