4iii Powermeter displays right instead of left side

I just installed my 4iii left sided powermeter crank.

After a test ride I shows up as 'R' not L on my Garmin Edge 520. (L/R Balance 0%L / 100%R)

Tried to see if I could change it somewhere but couldn't find a setting that let me change the crank from R to L.

Is this normal behaviour / Is there a way to fix?

Update: Ok seems to be an 4iiii issue hopefully the fix it some day.

Sounds like bug on the 4iiii side. A single sided power meter should not really be sending any balance data.

I have just had a response from 4iiii. The issue, is cosmetic and does not materially impact the design and features for the power meter. They will fix it with a new firmware. However, due to the fact that it is not a serious issue, there is no timescale for when the firmware upgrade will be released.....

Just completed my first ride with 4iiii dual power meter and I'm gutted I have only got 100%right with 0%left

Seems that I have the same problem on the Sworks power cranks. Dual sided but Garmin showing 0/100% balance.

Just did first ride on my TT bike that has a left side 4iiii PM installed and have some strange data. Quick search led me here and it seems I have the same issue with the L/R balance showing up as right side data

Also has L/R Torque Effectiveness data (showing left info) & L/R Power Smoothness (showing left info)

I assume 4iiii haven’t bothered to update their firmware yet?
